1. Hi
I’m Joes the designer,
An NFT, Product, UI/UX, Graphics & Motion
designer.
Below are some case studies on my mobile and
web designs with the process/steps I used to
achieve them.
2. Fidelity Mobile
Bank Application
Overview & Context:

User flow & Wireframes
Digital Execution
Fidelity bank is a leading bank corporation providing
customers solutions to grow. Fidelity Mobile is a
mobile application geared towards providing
customers bank services anywhere and anytime with
just a couple of clicks.
Conducted several research phases on mobile banking and it's essential
functionalities as the very first step. I used a collective method which was to
collect data according to the goals I wanted to achieve. The goal was to
reimagine the user flow, restructure and redesign the user interface. This is
to ease the way Fidelity Mobile Application users use the platform. Making
it less user hostile and more user friendly and easier to navigate.
For this project, below are the steps I used in approaching a cleaner and more user friendly interface for the Fidelity Mobile
App.
In this step, all data gathered from the research to improve the system was
integrated into the existing system keeping all major functionalities and
features of the existing system.
With a clear and precise path and guide to follow from the wireframes
created, I then made final UI designs paying close attention to the UI colors
to enhance the visual hierarchy, making it more welcoming to the users eye.
Improvements were also made on the already created icons from the
wireframing stage.
STEP 1
After gathering and analyzing all the collected data on mobile banking and
mobile payment systems a very clear guide on how the current system could
be improved and the project goal could be achieved.

3. Katapult Code
Web Game console
Overview & Context:
My Approach
Research & Moodboard
User flow & Wireframes
Katapult is a company that focuses on empowering
children to be the next generation of inventors,
leaders and changemakers. The Katapult web game
console is a web based game geared towards
teaching children how to code using the Block
Coding style technique. A web based game console
was to be designed to enable kids develop their
coding, problem solving and logical thinking skills by
developing their story through coding to create
animations and games.
After being handed a spreadsheet of functionalities required for the
platform, research on web based games, Block coding and child friendly
user design styles, I used a collective method which was to collect data
according to the goals and functionalities needed to be achieved.
After gathering and analyzing all the collected data from reseach on Block
coding and friendly web based games for kids, a clear guide on how the
system could be designed and implemented so that the project goal could
be achieved.
For this project, below are the steps I used in approaching a child friendly learning enviromnment to enable the kids navigate
the platform seemlessly providing an enviroment to enable any user understand Block coding software development and
programming to create codes in a visual and simple way.
In this step, using all the game functinalities and details I created user flows
to suit the platforms intended purposes, serving as a foundation for how the
wireframes could be implemented.
STEP 1
STEP 2
Wireframes were created using the basic userflow map, adding detail and
more basic game like features

STEP 3
User flow
With the wireframes ready my next step was to create game character
avatars, game level illustrations and other game art sprites.
All colors used in the user interface are from the basic color palettes of
Katapult company colors, using the brigher colors as the more dominant
ones in the design.

4. Vits Health App
Overview & Context:
My Approach
Research & Moodboard
User flow & Wireframes
A new health companion where you can connect health
vital reading devices such as smart watches and heart
rate monitors to store your health data and monitor
your vitals from one place.
In this step a problem was identified. Most people do not go for hospital
check-ups in Ghana and Africa due to many factors such as poor user
experiences at the hospitals, long queues, poor state of facilities, general
low patient satisfaction in hospitals, etc. Such people do not pay much
attention to their health unless they fall extremely ill. The goal was then to
design a system that encourages people to pay attention to their health,
give them easy access to hospital consultations, and provide a system that
is tailored towards individuals to promote the right to health across Africa in
relation to the AU charter.
After gathering and analyzing data and information, a solution concept of a
mobile application that allows users to be able to track health vitals, get
personalised heatlh tips, have general consultations online instead of going
to the hospitals as well as offering them the opportunity to request for
ambulances in emergency situations, especially for the users with cronic
health conditions.
This project was a product of collaboration with a UX Researcher. For this project I was tasked to redesign a more user friendly
UI. Here are the steps used by the team in approaching a cleaner and more user friendly interface for the Vits Health app.
In this step, after all basic functionality data was gathered from the research,
We had user flows for our functionalities and iterated a bit on it to suit its
intended purposes.
Usability testing of the app was conducted with 5 different people and we
got some good feedback.
The user flows were intuitive for the most part, there were a few concerns
which we addressed in the final desgins but most of the other comments
had to do with the UI being a bit flat. People spent more time locating
buttons and links due to the choice of colors and elements.
STEP 1
STEP 2
Vits is a health application that provides users with a
virtual central hub to connect all medical devices to
read their vitals and control them from one place. It
monitors heath vitals and uses the data to provide
personalized health tips for a healthy lifestyle. It also
allows users to speak with health professionals or
doctors when they need to. They can also swipe on a
button to request for an ambulance in situations of
emergency

We decided to do a total redesign from the ground up. I was tasked to lead
in the UI design were factors like the visual hierarchy, simplified UI, page
cluster, as well as app icons needed a fix.
STEP 3
A redesign for all the screens and the use of more colors to enhance the
visual hierarchy, making it more welcoming to the user eye.
