of delivering truth, in justice, for equality and liberation for the less fortunate and

2. The life of Rev. Dr. Willie A. Douglas is one of a man who has in humbleness and service
that so radiantly defined Minister Douglas’s character and empowered his leadership; the
universal, unconditional love, forgiveness and nonviolence that empowered Minister
Douglas revolutionary spirit.
Minister Douglas trust for a vibrant, multiracial cities / counties united in justice, peace
and reconciliation; cities / counties that has a place at the table for children of every race
and room at the inn for every needy child; the values of equality, tolerance and interracial
sister and brotherhood Minister Douglas so compellingly expressed and lived by his
example of life as a human being.
Minister Douglas is a servant, and visionary who embraced the unity of all faiths in love
and truth. Minister Douglas endured through a many of trials / tribulations to achieve a
voice of equality / justice / fairness for all i.e. less fortunate / oppressed without regards
to ethnicity /race / creed / color; a man who withstood opposition / challenges with
humbleness / dignity / respect, paying the ultimate price of sacrifice for his leadership,
but kept on being a voice for the poor and organizing anyway.
Rev. Dr. Willie A. Douglas’s strength is unconditional love, who gives his life in service to
