2. Is there a need…
This is the progression of a significant event being established from the
heart land of America. It reflects our state’s conservative views
representing Christian values, and our pride in being part of the bible
belt.
On all levels of our State Tourism Calendar, there is no venue
representing Gospel music, or any collective efforts of denominational
or nondenominational religious organizations to celebrate the Christian
faith nor any landsite associated historically with faith or any
established celebration of Labor day as a complete state event.
The purpose of this event is to establish a free community festival that
will promote unity , in a positive, and uplifting atmosphere to inspire
Oklahoman’s politically, socially and culturally for the wellbeing of the
State.
3. What will it Accomplish…
Every community is faced with it’s own cultural and social problems. We depend on religious, social, civic and
business leaders for guidance to a favorable solution
Faith beliefs are the common practices that hold most people together, to encourage and uplift people through the
most difficult and trying time. This event is giving to the community what social, civic, state and business leaders can
not give from their professional platform. It is a wholesome and productive way for all people to come together
regardless of age, race, denomination, sexual orientation or social status in a common and non offensive atmosphere.
This festival has 8 Major goals that are the core of it’s foundations:
1. To establish a Free State Festival that is entertaining/inspirational for adults and children in a faith setting.
2. To establish a venue for the purpose of celebrating the Great legacy of Gospel Music in Oklahoma.
