I have built the development of my career on the acquisition of new skills and experiences. I believe
in the necessity of lifelong learning. Therefore, as seen from above, I have repeatedly gone back to
education to rebuild the skills - management, software applications, languages, etc.. Since this was
not feasible during the time period of such demanding jobs as my interim management, I have done
these in the pause periods.
I have also spent a lot of the time for building a rich collection of technics, methodologies and
concepts for functional and company management or consulting. They are stored on computer disc
and enable me to work professionally with deep knowledge in wide areas of expertise. I have spent
several years for self study and building these "tools" and this is my competitive advantage.
It is my belive that knowledge-competencies and personal integrity are more important than
everything else and I have devoted my life to it.

I have changed my management style in the line with my leadership development and according to
the different circumstances of the individual companies. So, in the initial period I was more task-
oriented, and later more and more people-oriented. Given the circumstances of individual
companies, I have spent more time in smaller companies with operational and less with strategic
issues. In company survival cases my management style was more autocratic, although in normal
circumstances I rather support the maximum amount of participation in governance and any
complex tasks.
I have never been engaged in the political activities and I was never a member of any political party.
Of course I have my own opinions and beliefs, however I never let them influence my interactions
with other people nor did I give any unfair advantages to people of convictions similar to my own. I
am sure that politics, religion, nationality, and peoples' private lives must not affect the business
relationships.
I especially appreciate honesty, diligence, initiative, and sincerity. One part of company everyday
internal life are also cliques that some individuals support even in cases where they intimately
disagree. It is difficult to insist on principles even to the detriment of someone's personal interests.
Company values determine collaboration constructiveness or else energy can be lost with internal
fighting instead for competing on the market.
