The objective is the creation of a harmonious-integral model of human life in union and
cooperation with nature, in order to show an optimal process of sustainable development
with directly observable, quantifiable and verifiable simple methodologies. Such ecological
model must be able to be afforded by all human beings. The ecological communities Cerro
del Sol constitute the foundational cells of a series of communities, which share with local
adaptations the universal principles and methods of the foundational communities.
The ATM project can be described as a search for solutions to the great problems which
humanity faces: progressive deterioration of the environment, climatic change,
impoverished-contaminated basic foods, contaminating energies (petroleum, …), costly and
inefficient healthcare and education systems which perpetuate maladaptive patterns of
behavior and pathological states (disease - lack of health) in individuals-families-
communities and personal-family-professional conciliation problems, … The ATM project
forms one of the most significant human projects on planet earth.
The creative process begins with the establishment of a set of qualitative principles
(regulatory by-laws) accorded by a foundational group, which allows a harmonious
equilibrium of functioning between the individual and the community. The set of
fundamental principles provide the quality of the project, maintain its application and
process of implementation, and ensure its viability in the future, through a constant and
continuous process of improvement at all levels of functioning (kaizen process). Such
fundamental principles are articulated addressing and developing the following points.
1. The primordial normative focuses on the organic-ecological agricultural garden as a
school of life (return to the garden). The main objective is the establishment of a simple life
in union with nature, implementing its self-regulatory principles. The global results are
described as: (1.1) less is more, (1.2) no waste, (1.3) abundance, from one seed ten
2. thousand seeds. The community takes possession of the means of production of basic foods
(organic quality - ecological agriculture), becoming self-sufficient and generating
significant income with the direct distribution of its high quality products to the neighboring
communities.
2. The community takes possession of the means of production of clean-renewable-
distributed energy systems (Rifkin model): solar (passive-active), wind, water (hydraulic,
tides, waves), hydrogen and others. The community becomes self-sufficient in clean energy,
and also produces an excedent which is transmitted to the net and neighboring communities,
generating significant income. The community also generates income through the
distribution of ecological technologies.
3. The community takes possession of the means of construction in accordance with the
principles of architectural bau-biology (green-ecological building): using non-toxic, noble
materials from the ecosystem (fundamentally brick, stone, wood, straw, clay and others) with
advanced ecological designs (sacred geometry, feng shui, location-orientation of site and
structures, distribution-ordering of harmonious spaces, balance of design and placement,
open spaces-gardens integrated in the community, optimal ratio between individual an
community areas. The community also generates additional income by its building-
organizing capabilities for other communities.
4. The community self-regulates a model of education and healthcare based on the
principles of Natural Biological Medicine. Such model induces higher levels-states of health
with a much lower cost than the conventional allopathic models. Key to this approach is
generalized prevention and implementation of natural health methods of self-regeneration
through simple self-regulatory practices and procedures which every person can learn and
apply. These methods begin with: food is medicine + medicinal plant preparations -
homeopathic remedies and others, as its extension + the cultivation of the human energy
field (meditation - yoga - tai chi qi gong - among others). The regeneration of the human
being is achieved through an integrative methodology of procedures in a bio-psycho-social-
spiritual model, incorporating the application of the psychology of creativity (optimal
development of human potential) and spiritual values based on universal non-exclusive
principles. Income is also generated by the high quality products and services which this
education-healthcare model creates.
The set of qualitative principles agreed upon by the foundational group form a constitutional
document: Carta Magna. The ATM ecological communities project implements a private-
public model of creative collaboration-organization (kaizen model - purpose funds, private
living, private education) with a unique fiscal-financial structure in order to set up a platform
for the next emerging ecological civilization. The group of proprietors-investors look for an
alliance-concordia in the participation with local government, autonomic region, central
government and organisms of the European Union.
The ATM ecological communities are fundamentally self-regulatory, but not isolated. To the
contrary, the mentioned communities are eminently interactive with the nearby and faraway
existing communities, developing ever expanding homeostatic states and interdependent
multidisciplinary relations.
