To Whom It May Concern,
During my employment at The Active Network, Inc. as Documentation Manager, I had the good fortune
to merge my team with Michael Bryan’s team. I had heard good things about his level of professionalism
and commitment to quality documentation, and was not disappointed when I started working with him.
I discovered that he uses a disciplined, intelligent and well-thought-out approach that ensures good
process to deliver the highest quality of documentation.
After seeing how he managed the documentation set, and being impressed with its quality, I adopted
many of his processes and principles across other teams. I also later learned that when he was initially
hired to work on the documentation set, he found a poorly-designed and disparate collection of
documents, and set to working improving its quality and organization.
As Team Lead, Michael showed leadership and a keen sense of prioritization to deliver the best
customer experience possible under sometimes tight time frames and conflicting schedules. I felt
confident leaving him to manage his and his team’s time and deliverables.
