To Whom It May Concern:
RE: Melissa Murphy, 959 Hwy 159 North, Falmouth, Ky.
I am a 1971 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University
and have practiced or taught veterinary medicine since that time until now in various
capacities. I have known Melissa Murphy since she rejoined the Grants Lick
Veterinary Hospital in Butler, Ky. and the Pendleton County Veterinary Hospital in
Falmouth, KY. in 2012. In the past nearly 4 years, she has assisted me in the medical
and surgical treatment of dogs and cats in the hospitals. During that time I have
found her to be punctual in her attendance at work, very dependable in her duties, and
always eager to help out even outside her assigned job description. She is very
observant to see things that need to be done, quick to jump in and help out when there
is an urgent need in the hospital, and she never uses the excuse "it's not my job" to
avoid doing something that needs to be done. I can say without reservation that I
have found it a pleasure to work with Melissa. When I walk into the clinic and find
her there I know it is going to be a good day.
Perhaps the greatest recommendation for Melissa is the great job she does as a single
parent providing and caring for her two sons, while working 40 and more hours each
week and doing university study full time by correspondence through the internet.
The fact that she can maintain a 3.97 GPA speaks not only of her scholastic
excellence but even more of her commitment to work hard and excel in every area of
her life. She has a work ethic seldom seen in today's working world and one that is
sought after and rewarded by progressive employers.
I am very happy to write this letter of recommendation, confident that she will do
well in all of her future endeavors and will contribute much in whatever profession
she chooses to pursue.
Sincerely,
Dale E. Beighle DVM, MS, PhD
