1. All praises and thankfulness to God, the Creator of the Universe. He
blessed me with number of opportunities - I am a social and economic
development strategist and practitioner, started community work back in
1979 as Finance Secretary of Aga Khan Regional Education Board for
Punjab (A project of AKDN).
During all these
years, I accomplished
various assignments
and tasks as a
volunteer without
looking for reward or
recognitions, by now
if I look back,
thousands hours are
dedicated in my
humble way for the community wellbeing and their economic prosperity.
Henceforth if God bestow me with good mental and physical health, I will
continue to serve vulnerable and financially disadvantaged communities.
I define myself as a corporate sufi (austere), mission driven persona, my goals to inspire and empower
individuals to achieve material success, blended with a deep sense of purpose, passion, and fulfillment.

By profession I am a progressive entrepreneur; initiated, managed, shared my wisdom and expertise,
sometime as part of execution and management team. I maintained corporate management positions of
President of Conglomerate entities that are producing and marketing hundreds of branded & patented
products, and commodities through 25 diverse manufacturing facilities. Numerous innovative concepts
and ideas have been introduced by me in the manufacturing industries that I headed from the very
inception.
During 1978, I joined multifamily (Manjis’ &
Lakdawalas’) business of Pakistan, “FINIS” & “VITA”
later became household name in Pakistan, started
from insecticides & disinfectant manufacturing
(Est:1948) & modern baking and savory snack unit
(Est:1978). Subsequently group installed state-of-
the-art aseptic packaging system to high-tech super
critical fluid extraction system, producing
nutraceuticals & assorted pre-packed food. From 1948 to 2013 conglomerate initiated 25 manufacturing
facilities including pink salt packaging service as contract manufacturer with sales offices located at 36
cities across Pakistan. Employed over 4,000 entry level skilled men and women and converted them into
highly skilled workers with on job trainings.
I am thankfulness to Almighty God (s.w.t) for
the phenomenal success of seven decades

enter into Special Purpose Public-Private
Partnership agreement with economic
development organizations for domestic
manufacturing of PPE. All proposed initiatives
will be completed with financial support of U.S. government’s DFC-DPA Loan Program for the
manufacturing of products listed under Defense Production Act otherwise SBA finance through various
Small Business Investment Company. SBA funding under Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR)
program for commercialization of newly developed products by proposed manufacturing.
Manjis’ own world’s first dedicated Pink-Salt facility
located at Punjab Industrial Estate Bhalwal
Pakistan which is only 40 miles from the Khewra-
Pakistan salt mines, the second largest in the world,
and trace mineral-rich pink salt mines are world’s
largest and only mine. The project capital cost
partially funded by The Netherlands government.
Manjis’ own first and only Sea buckthorn berries
pulping (manufacturing) facility installed at
Gahkuch (Ghizer District) in Himalayas, the facility
is at 10,800 feet above sea level, the gateway to
Central Asia, project cost partially funded by USAID.
