According to Islamic tradition our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was not schooled in
reading and writing.
In the life of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) the verses were memorized and written by the
companions of He(SAW).
The text was written on leaves, stones, parchments etc.
The Holy Quran was not written as a complete official book and the written pieces were
scattered between companions of He(SAW) as a private possession.
8. After the life of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH):
In the caliphate of Hazrat Abu Bakr many Huffaz (memorizer of Holy Quran) got matrayed in the
Battle of Yamama.
Hazrat Umar insisted Hazrat Abu Bakr to compile the Quran. He agreed and appointed Hazrat
Zaid Bin Sabit with 25/75 companions for the compilation of Quran.
Hazrat Zaid was leading the committee and verified all the verses. For the verification of the
Holy verses He made it compulsory to present atleast two witness per verse.

10. Quran play a great role in the modern world. According to some Muslim authors, the
Quran predicted some scientific events, such as the structure of the embryo, Geology,
Medicine, Breast feeding, and the creation of the universe etc.
These predictions were later confirmed by scientific investigation.
The holy Quran and Sunnah, however, have provided a detailed description of the
significant events in human development from the stages of gametes and conception
until the full term pregnancy and delivery.
Although most Muslim and non-Muslim scholars at that time were unaware of this, later
on they came to know about embryology.
As stated in the Holy Quran:
“..He creates you in the wombs of your mothers in stages, one after
another, in three veils of darkness” (Surah Al Zumar, 39:6)..”
Role of Quran in modern and upcoming generations

Our signs!”(Quran 2:22)

Family
"Do not ever sever your relationship with a member of your family even if he
severs his relationship with you."
