 Develop, refine and implement an annual advertising plan and promotions program 
 Conceptualize, organize, and oversee each special event held at the Public Market, including scheduling and booking entertainment, advertising, creating information, involving merchants, and managing on-site staff 
 Maintain contacts with regional media and provide information on a regular basis about special events, interesting merchant stories, achievements, and changes to the Market 
 Oversee creation and maintenance of customer and media databases 
 Prepare annual marketing plan and budget. Analyze costs and expenditures on a quarterly basis, and make adjustments to marketing expenditures as needed to maintain budget 
Milwaukee Public Library (MPL) Foundation: 2002 – 2006

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
 Research grant opportunities and write proposals 
 Develop direct mail campaigns 
 Manage and coordinate special events 
 Manage volunteers and Board development 
 Utilize various computer programs including Microsoft Office, Raiser’s Edge, and QuickBooks 
 Supervise full and part-time employees 
 Assist in the coordination of a citywide fundraising campaign: United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) Visions

Manager of Career Programs & Admissions Counselor – 
Alverno College: 2000-2002 
Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
 Coordinate a career workshop series for high school students 
 Manage service and recruitment events for Alverno College and the surrounding community 
 Represent Alverno College at various middle and high school programs across the state 
 Manage a campus-wide project of creating “info sheets” to represent all majors and minors offered at Alverno 
Part-time Instructor, “Pre-Professional Seminar” – 
Alverno College: 2002 
Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
 Teach a semester-long course counseling students to: explore values and how they relate to work, take the Strong Interest Inventory (a vocational personality type assessment) and use individual feedback from instructor, conduct informational interviews to learn more about careers and to begin development of a professional network, and to use basic resources for career research 
 Work closely with the discipline director on course planning, student work assessment, and providing effective student feedback 
 Create instructional presentations using PowerPoint presentations and other teaching tools 
Development Associate – 
Special Olympics Wisconsin – Greater Milwaukee Area: 1999-2000. 
Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
 Coordinate Special Olympics events surpassing previous year’s fundraising totals including the Auto Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee’s Annual Ball with silent and live auctions, numerous golf tournaments with raffles, and managed various events co-sponsored with local and statewide law enforcement agencies (e.g. Law Enforcement Torch Run, Polar Plunge) 
 Present public education programs for a variety of community audiences on cognitive disabilities and the benefits of participation in Special Olympics 
 Produce specialized solicitation letters to various corporations and small businesses 
 Develop media partnerships 
Promotions & Editorial Assistant – 
Clear Channel Metroplex, Milwaukee: 1997-98. 
Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
 Represent Clear Channel Metroplex, a chain of local radio stations, at numerous promotional remote broadcasts from grocery store grand openings to concerts 
 Communicate the importance of radio communications through various tours and presentations 
 Edit and write copy for promotional and publicity pieces including articles for Clear Channel’s magazines with a distribution of 60,000 
 Supervise part-time promotions staff
