1. Reflections of Myself
A Passion
The above picture epitomizes my
gratification and effort better
than any words. It reminds me of
the joy and necessity of giving
back to the community even if
just for a smile.
“A Passion to Guide me and a Passion which Abides me”. Diwali has always been our family’s
traditional get-together time. No matter where we were, all my cousins, uncles and aunts,
all of us would spend the holiday together. Come Diwali 2011, this was one of the most
special Diwali I could experience. My eyes still well up on reminiscing the Diwali Toy
Distribution in three orphanages in Bangalore. It just felt right and indescribably happy and
will always be a memory I cherish.
2. An Adventure
Enjoyment is as necessary in life as anything else. New experiences are something
I always welcome with open arms, be it Para-sailing over the depths of the Arabian
Sea, humbling myself over the trek across Karnataka’s highest peak or feeling the
7sec thrill of the world’s tallest, largest and almost fastest roller coaster. Apart from
the unforgettable memories each one leaves by, every adventure has also taught
me a lesson. The trek teaching me perseverance and humility, the Para-sail to take
risks and put myself out there and thus being true to the saying – “Life is either a
great adventure or nothing”.
3. A Travel
“The World is a Book, and those who
do not travel read only a page”. Travel
has been one of my biggest
enjoyments. This has led to me many
different parts of the world from in
front of the Majestic Grand Canyon to
the mesmerizing beauty of the Taj
Mahal. I feel that I enjoy the journey
as much as the destination as I try to
do in all aspects of my life.
Visiting new places, meeting new
people always leaves an impression on
me. There are still millions of places to
go, infinitely more people to meet and
I will always look forward to a new
journey be it now or 20 years later.
4. I have very high regards for my friends.
They are the one source of constant
inspiration, courage, support and
competition for me. “A man is known
by the company he keeps”.
I have a select group of friends who are
really close to me. They have helped
me and me them, countless times and
it is a bond which I truly cherish and
respect. I am always ready to forge with
someone new.
