and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs.
I want to thank you for your role in the promotion ofthe Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). This year marked
the 10th Anniversary of EITC Awareness Day. The IRS wanted to reach as many taxpayers as possible using all
available resources to help educate taxpayers about claiming the credit. Because ofyour support, taxpayers
gained the awareness ofthis important credit. Thank you for your support in this area.
The IRS appreciates your service and time committed to assist taxpayers during the filing season. You played a
critical role in helping taxpayers comply with the tax laws, obtain the benefits of deductions and credits and gain
