2. My graduation
from University
In Guangzhou University, I took
the Logistics program.
In these four years, I learned all

3. My work
In 2011, I have been a Marketing
Manager Assistant in Guangzhou
Haolaiyun Express Services, LTD for a year.
My task for this job included: developed
new customers and maintained a good
relationship with the customers;
increased sales and implemented sales
tasks.
During this period, I took the Customer
Satisfaction Questionnaire and a survey of
customers’ opinions about express
services. After completing this research, I
made a report from the data and
information I gathered. The report helped
my company realize its strengths,
weaknesses and opportunities. What’s
more ,the report also helped the company
change its strategies.
With the help of this work experience, I
established my own career plan, what’s
more, I improved my skills of thinking and
learned to work independently.

4. My new life in
Canada
Now I am taking further education and
pursuing a new life in Canada. My
dream is to start my own business, so I
am taking an International Business
program at Centennial College.
In order to integrate into the new life in
Canada, I practice my English everyday, I
watch English TV and movies; listen to
English songs, and more importantly, I
have made many native Canadian
friends to help improve my English and Now that I have been in Canada for half a

5. Group work
In this semester, I had many group work
assignments in GNED 500 course. My
professor assigned us all groups to research
different social problems.
These assignments consisted of three parts:
Firstly, My group needed to summit a
proposal which concluded the topic we
chose. Secondly, I made a report which
required the background of our topic and I
used the social model to analyze it. At last, a
presentation about our topic was shown to
our classmates.
In order to finish this assignment, my group
members and I communicated, discussed and
allocated different tasks to each group
member. For me, I not only finished my tasks,
I also modified and assembled them for
submission. More importantly, I provided
many useful ideas to my group members to
help them finish their task.
Through our hard work, our group received
A+, and by working in a team together, I
improved many skills such as communication,
organization, planning and so on.
