team penalty, but registrations are
still welcome, at the ecogaine on

Start times:
Will be a staggered, for each
category. The race will start at
10.30 & each category will be
leaving at 15 min apart. You need
to be at the event at least 20 mins
prior, with enough time to check
in, get your team sorted, get your
map & in time for the event briefing
& strict start time. This is very
important!
Time limit:
2 hours. The pace is up to you and
you can finish earlier if you want
to. Where is the event: In, up and
around the Oamaru Gardens area!
What to bring:
Mobile phone, pen/pencil to mark
your map/answer sheet, hat ,
sunscreen, H2O bottle, weather
appropriate clothing , closed in
shoes, snacks and of course your
sense of adventure!

OSCAR’s ‘Green and Groovy’
Arts and Crafts Workshop
Being ‘Green’ is something that we’re proud of at O.S.C.A.R. (Out
of School Care and Recreation) @ Fenwick, Oamaru! Through our
green actions and activities, our OSCAR children have become a
keen, creative, clever and resourceful group. With a bunch of such
creative and conscientious young minds, the future of our world is
looking brighter already!
We’re looking forward to sharing some of our green ideas and our
enthusiasm with you through a ‘Green and Groovy’ Arts & Crafts
Workshop for kids during the
Waitaki Herald Health and Well Being Expo.
This workshop will be available to all for a gold coin donation (to
assist in covering the cost of materials) and will be held at the
Waitaki Resource Recovery Centres Education Room, 42 Chelmer
Street, on Saturday, 4th October from 10am until 11.30am.
