8. Options for visa & residency in
Sweden
There are two options to obtain a work permit and residency in Sweden; one through
self-employed investor visa, the other through work permit after obtaining a job offer.
The legal, financial, technical requirement for securing residency based on self-
employment is very challenging, and takes long time to approve (10-12 months).
This is evident in the small number (about 300) of yearly granted residency based on this.
However, we believe that a much faster and more reliable way to obtain work permit,
and then residency is through a job offer from a Swedish company.
The investor can still invest in a company in a stake that range from 5% to 100%,
contingent upon employment contract.
To ensure success to this option the following must be satisfied:
1- Sponsoring company must offer a valid and qualifying job contract for one year
year
2- Hiring company is establish for more than one year with good financial record
3-The investor shows reasonable qualifications for the job being offered
4-The income based on the job offer is sufficient for the investors' cost of living

Employment Investment Program (EIP)
There are many companies who would want to hire a qualified IT professional from overseas.
However, this hiring comes at high cost and effort to apply for work permit.
Maxloyal can solve these two problems and add another business value to those companies.
offer these companies to manage the hiring process of an IT professional, who is willing to
cash to buy shares in their company as well.
The IT professional makes a specific investment and buy some shares of the company, in return
company (employer) offer him/her a fulltime job for one year.
The investment fund should be sufficient to pay for the one year employment, the only issue
be the percentage of shares that the company is willing to divest per specific investment offer.
The employer company use the proceeds of shares sale to pay for operating cost of a fulltime IT

11. Work Permit Requirements
To obtain a work permit applicant must
Have a valid passport
Have been offered terms of employment that are at least on par with those set by Swedish collective agreements or which are customary within the

You must be offered a position that will enable you to support yourself. In order to satisfy this support requirement, you need to work to an extent that
will result in a salary of at least SEK 13,000 per month before taxes.
Have an employer who intends to provide insurance covering health, life, employment and pension when you begin to work.
For the prospective employee to obtain a work permit you, as the employer, must satisfy the following conditions
Advertise the position in Sweden and within EU/EES and Switzerland for a minimum of ten days. You do this by advertising for at least ten days in the
Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) job bank.
Advertisements in Arbetsförmedlingen' s job bank are also visible in the European job bank EURES.
Offer terms of employment that are at least on par with those set by Swedish collective agreements or which are customary within the industry.
Offer a salary that is at least on par with those set by Swedish collective agreements or which is customary within the occupation or industry
