The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit’s newly created Of�ice of Grant Research and Development provides
grant application and proposal research, development, and writing services for educational and
other community-based non-pro�it organizations.
Our goals are:
 To provide strategic services that assist local schools and community-based non-pro�it
organizations in seeking, developing, and acquiring competitive grant funding that supports
the educational achievement and wellbeing of all learners.
 To foster or enhance collaborative partnerships with community organizations and local
schools through the development of co-application, consortium or other forms of partnership
grant applications or proposals.
 To provide grant development resources designed to increase the capacity of local schools and
community organizations to apply for competitive funds.
