The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit’s newly created Of�ice of Grant Research and Development provides
grant application and proposal research, development, and writing services for educational and
other community-based non-pro�it organizations.
Our goals are:
To provide strategic services that assist local schools and community-based non-pro�it
organizations in seeking, developing, and acquiring competitive grant funding that supports
the educational achievement and wellbeing of all learners.
To foster or enhance collaborative partnerships with community organizations and local
schools through the development of co-application, consortium or other forms of partnership
grant applications or proposals.
To provide grant development resources designed to increase the capacity of local schools and
community organizations to apply for competitive funds.
