Senior Aircraft Technician – Mechanical 2013-Present
 Played a key role as a Senior Aircraft Technician, tasked with the timely
servicing, maintenance and repair of aircraft while working to stringent
protocols and exacting standards.
 Regularly diagnosed and rectified aircraft faults on the flight line, resulting in
aircraft meeting flight plans which retrospectively saved the organisation vast
amounts of money on maintenance costs and time.
 Performed preventative maintenance and executed break downs / rebuilds of
aircraft in the support of overseas operations.
 Utilised knowledge of a wide range of mechanical systems and specialist
aircraft equipment, such as hydraulic, fuel and pressurised gas systems as
well as various heavy duty cranes.
 Supervised and motivated junior members of the team toward the
achievement of objectives, as well as delivering teaching sessions to senior
personnel on all aspects of aircraft operations and maintenance.

Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic 2009-2013

hand skills, gas turbine engines, electronic and avionic fundamentals,
hydraulic systems, fuel systems, flying control systems, aviation maths and
science, aerodynamics and environmental control systems.
 Provided maintenance and support on VC10 transport and air to air refuelling
aircraft, including the completion of routine services and top ups of nitrogen,
oxygen and hydraulic systems (pressures up to 3000 psi).
 Undertook initial trade training and secured exceptional results, with notable
success in winning the Silver Salvor Award during aircraft system training for
the highest overall score in examinations.
