We've made diversity a priority here at Drift from day one and we want to hold ourselves accountable. So we are happy to announce the launch of the first edition of Drift's Diversity Report. We will continue to lean in on diversity to improve in all areas.

  4. 4. We recently asked 100 people on Twitter, “What is the MOST important aspect of making a decision on a job?”

  8. 8. Yes, diversity is crucial to company culture, but it’s also just as crucial to a company’s bottom line.
  9. 9. Did you know that companies with more diverse teams outperform companies with less diverse teams?
  10. 10. According to McKinsey research, racially diverse companies are 35% more likely to have financial returns that are above industry norms.
  11. 11. In the US, there’s a linear relationship between diversity and improved financial performance …
  12. 12. For every 10% increase in the racial & ethnic diversity of a company’s senior executive team, earnings rise 0.8%.
  13. 13. At Drift, we take diversity seriously, and we believe in being transparent about our diversity goals as well as how diverse we are today.
  14. 14. So we decided to put together a scorecard to see how we’re doing on diversity compared to other tech companies.
