● তকন্তু Word গুবলার আবগ যতে অতনতেগি সাংখ্াোচক তেবশষণ (indefinite numeral adjective) থাবক িাহবল িাবের plural রূপ ে্েহার হয়। দযেনিঃ শি শি দলাক দসখাবন তগবয়তেল Hundreds of people went there. আতে কবয়ক দজাড়া জুবিা তকনে I shall buy some pair of shoes. িু তে কি ডজন আে চাও? How many dozens of mangoes do you want?
● দকান noun যতে compound (দযৌতগক শব্দিঃ দুই ো িবিাতিক শব্দ তনবয় গঠিি) হয় এোং িাবে আবগ যতে তনতেগি সাংখ্াোচক তেবশষণ(definite numeral adjective) ে্েহার হয়, িাহবল ঐ সে noun এর plural হয় না। দযেনিঃ তিতন একজন নব্বই েের েয়স্ক ে্তি He is a ninety-year old man. এতি তেল একটি পাাঁ চ েের দেয়ােী পতরকল্পনা It will be a five-year conference. তিতন েশ েের েয়স্ক দেবলর ো She is a mother of a ten-year old son.
● Cannon, corps, deer, means, sheep ইি্াতে nounগুবলার singular ও plural এর রূপ একই। দযেনিঃ িারা দুইটি হতরণ দপাবষ They keep two deer. একটি ো দুইটি পয়শা আোবক োও Give me one or two pice. িারা একটি দভড়া জোই কবরতেল They slaughtered one sheep.
● Furniture ,poetry, issue, offspring ইি্াতে noun গুবলার pluralরূপ নাই ; এগুবলাবক ইাংবরতজবি singular তহবসবে ে্েহার করবি হয়। দযেনিঃ িার দকান সন্তান দনই= She has no issue সে খরচাতে িার োরা েহন করা হবয়তেল= All expenditure was borne by him. যন্ত্রপাতিগুবলা আজই দকনা হবয়তেবলা= The machinery has been bought just today. ● Mathmatics , news, physics প্রভৃ তি noun গুল দেখবি plural এর েি হবলও এরা প্রকৃ িপবক্ষ singular. দযেনিঃ পোথগ তেে্া সহজ নয়= Physics is not easy. দুিঃসাংোে োিাস আবগ যায়= Ill news runs faster than wind. গতণি একটি কঠিন তেষয়= Mathematics is a hard subject.
