1. BEELE Engineering products and systems are developed explicitly for a service life and functionality of more than
25 years, as has now been demonstrated in many installations. The products are tested to meet the highest con-
ceivable fire and mechanical loads. Not only do they easily withstand oil fires, explosions, tsunamis, shocks and
vibrations, they also offer protection against corrosion, temperature differences, and adverse climatological effects.
Taking all these threatening aspects into account, it may be obvious that just one system or one rubber or plastic
grade will not be enough to optimize protective system technology. A wide variety of systems and technologies
has been developed over the years. And are still being developed.

27. This year (2017), construction of a new 45,000 m² campus in Aalten (the Netherlands) will begin, not only to facilitate
development and transfer knowledge and information, but also to bundle expertise in order to raise the entire market to a
higher level. The new Sealing Valley complex will include multimedia equipped lecture halls and classrooms, state-of-the art
R&D and testing laboratories, as well as a production facility. In the future, there will be a showroom where students and
visitors can experience simulated scenarios involving fire, water and other calamities in a safe environment.
The priority of Sealing Valley will be to train BEELE engineers so they can make their own contribution to the development
of our products and systems, and be able to disseminate their professional knowledge all over the world. Sealing Valley will
also benefit the general community by offering regular workshops on preventive safety. Organizations looking to learn about
fire safety and essential sealing methods for protection against water, gas, and natural disasters will be able to participate.
