2. A heart attack occurs when
blood flow to the heart is
obstructed. While some heart
attacks are sudden, there are
many instances when a patient
feels symptoms gradually.
WHAT IS A HEART ATTACK?
3. This is one of the earliest signs
and can sometimes start weeks
before a heart attack. If you’re
suddenly feeling fatigued or
exhausted, despite the fact that
there’s been no increase in your
level of physical activity, this is
a cause for concern.
SHORTNESS OF BREATH
4. Chest pain can range from mild
discomfort to severe pain. The
pain or discomfort can appear
for a while, disappear, and
return several hours later. Some
people don’t experience chest
pain at all.
CHEST PAIN
5. A person who is experiencing
a heart attack often feels jaw
pain that radiates to the teeth,
neck, back, and down the left
arm.
JAW PAIN
6. This symptom is more
common in women.
PAIN IN THE LOWER
ABDOMEN
7. This feeling is exacerbated
when standing up.
LIGHTHEADEDNESS
8. This is due to the body working
in overdrive, trying to deliver
adequate blood flow and
oxygen to the heart.
COLD SWEAT
9. Keep in mind that not everyone
experiences this symptom.
NAUSEA
