Film Noir or Neo-Noir’s top selling film is Sin City with $74,103,820
and was made by Dimension. Warner Bro’s made 3 of the most
successful Noir films, these three films are L.A Confidential at number
2, Blade Runner at 3 and Body Heat at 7. Other big names in the Noir
scene are Columbia pictures, Newmarket and Universal. However
very popular production companies who usually have big films in
most Genres’ make all these three films. From using box office mojo I
have seen that the most successful Noir Movie is Sin City by
Dimension however Warner Bro’s has the most films in the top 10.
Warner Bro’s is a worldwide film production company and usually have top 10’s
in every mainstream genre, the top 3 studios are Universal with an overturn of
$141.4, Weinstein Company with an overturn of $120.1 and then Warner Bro’s
with an overturn of $114.8.
However as neither Universal or Weinstein Company have a top 5 in the Neo-
Noir Charts and Warner Bro’s do, I am going to base my film on a warner bro’s
style song.
