1. Our client has an opening for a Front End Contractor
They are looking for exceptional developers to work on on cross-platform web initiatives
delivering to desktop, tablet, mobile and social platforms.
The challenge is to help them develop the next generation browser-based user experience
that will be seen by tens of thousands of customers every day. As a developer, you will work
closely with a cross-functional team composed of technical, creative, business development,
user-experience and marketing professionals.
The Role
 Experience developing responsive web applications for desktop, tablet and mobile
platforms is essential
 Extensive experience developing object-oriented Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3,
including knowledge of libraries and frameworks such as Backbone.js,
Underscore.js, RequireJS, Node.js, PhantomJS, jQuery and ExtJS
 Experience developing against 3rd party, web-based APIs, including Facebook or
other social network APIs
 Excellent understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
 Knowledge of native iOS and Android development would be an advantage
 Keen software engineering approach, with good object-oriented design ability and a
desire to write well-structured, maintainable, tested code
 Experience developing in a test first environment ideally with Jasmine
 Experience with agile development methodologies
 Desire to work closely with the business, learn new things and teach others
 Ability to take ownership of a project or issue, analyse it and solve problems not
faced before
 You’ll need a technical background, with a strong Computer Science, Software
Engineering or similar degree.
