Teacher Notes
What are “warm-up” practice problems? Before the ACT, every student should do several questions from each section to get his or her brain moving and to instill a sense of confidence. These practice problems can be taken from online or can be previous problems from the book or exercises that students have already used. (You wouldn’t start playing a basketball game without warming up – why wouldn’t you warm up for a test in the same way?)
Teacher Notes
Before the test is not an ideal time to discuss evening plans with friends or to stress about the test. Stay focused, and review notes instead of chatting and worrying yourself and others around you.
