Direct speech = directe rede: dat wat iemand letterlijk zegt; staat tussen “aanhalingstekens”

Indirect speech = indirecte rede: je vertelt (na) wat iemand gezegd/gedaan heeft
He said that he loved playing games.
Omzetten van directe rede naar indirecte rede
→ een stapje terug gaan in de tijd
→ Het persoonlijk voornaamwoord aanpassen om de zin kloppend/logisch te maken.

→ Als aanwezig in de zin, ook het bezittelijk voornaamwoord aanpassen (my, your, his, her, our, your, their /
