Michael Jackson (August
29, 1958, Gary, Indiana - June 25, 2009, Los
Angeles, California) . Was a
singer, songwriter and dancer pop music and
its variants. Known as the "King of Pop" he
did about 80 records for different reasons
and was included in the Guinness Book of
Records many times, among them: to be the
most awarded musical artist in
history, youngest vocalist to lead the singles
chart in the United States, 11 years old ,In
addition is the first and only artist who has
managed to start and end the year with an
album at number 1 (Thriller) and the first and
only artist in history to achieve number 1 in
the 1960, 1970, 1980 and 1990.

He began his career with his brothers
in the band “The Jackson 5” in the mid-
1960s, which released ten albums with
them until 1975. In 1971 he began his solo
career. Michael was recognized during his
career with the nickname of the "King of

EFFORTS
Michael Jackson devoted
much of its efforts and financial
resources to humanitarian aid,
and was recognized worldwide
for millions donations: donated $
300 million to charitable causes.
In 1984, while filming a
commercial for Pepsi, Jackson
suffered third degree burns on
the scalp and other parts of your
body.
7. One of his greatest
humanitarian efforts and one of
the most famous was in 1985
when he, along with Lionel
Richie, organized the
megaproject USA for Africa
where 46 artists gathered to
record the single "We Are the
World", the project raised 10.8
million, which was donated to
Ethiopia, who suffered a
famine in the mid-1980s.

9. GLOBAL IMPACT
Later, he was involved in two
controversial chapters: the first in
1993 and later in 2003. In both
cases the singer was accused of
pedophilia through sexual abuse
allegations to two children from
thirteen years in each case.
However, the charges were
withdrawn after paying a sum of
over twenty million dollars in order
to avoid a trial in the first case and
in the second, to be acquitted at
trial for lack of evidence. These
events had a global impact and
affected the final years of his life
and career.
10. After more than ten years since their
last tour, Michael Jackson announced his
comeback with the Tour , This Is It,
however, almost twenty days before the
start of the tour, on June 25, 2009, the
singer died of a cardiac arrest.
The Forensic Department Los Angeles
County declared his death a homicide, and
his personal physician pleaded "not guilty"
to charges of involuntary homicide in court
and paid a security for not entering prison,
his trial was postponed by January 2011.
The sudden death of the artist led to an
avalanche of global shame, and to more
than two billion people watched his public
funeral on live television. In 2010, Sony
Music Entertainment signed a contract with
his family for $ 250 million to retain
distribution rights to his records and publish
seven posthumous albums until 2017.
