1. Of bridges and cigarettes..

And then he was wrong.. He ended the call. It was too late though. Missed call on her cell.
One simple buzz.And then a pathetic sms." Sorry my bad ". Pathetic.. But she replied. "How
are you" ? He was acting like he was in a dream. In a dream where you don't walk on plain,
steep ground. You walk on bubbles.
He needed nothing more. Next thing he knew, he was on a plane. Destination: she!
They were both happy. Very happy. And their eyes were happy. And their breaths as they
were making passionate love on the floor.
and then.. rewind... The crime had happened. Done-finished.
They were used otherwise. They did not quite fit into each other.
And then he and she remembered the "bridge" theory. About people that walk into our lives
just to be our cigarette. We bond with them as easily as one can bond with an addiction. And
they are our bridge to another destination. As soon as the path is over, then the bridge is of no
use. The same role- over and over again.
People working just like bridges and cigarettes. Nothing more and nothing less..
