1. Students at Florida A&M University, Florida Gulf Coast University,
Florida State University, Tallahassee Community College, Santa Fe
College, and University of Florida may apply to the Southern
Scholarship Foundation if they are currently enrolled and in good
standing at their respective university/college and exhibit significant
financial need.
With 470 beds, each scholarship house is made up of 9-31 students
(depending on house capacity) from diverse backgrounds. While
living in the house, they are required to live cooperatively by
cooking, cleaning, and managing the household budget, as well as
maintaining a 3.0 GPA. All houses split a Food & Services bill that
consists of utilities, consumables, and other services.
