Personal Profile
I have a long experience in interpreting for over 8
years in United Kingdom, especially in a large public
sector. I have good interpersonal skills, paying strong
attention to detail, and understanding confidentiality,
with the ability to focus under pressure. I am
punctual, hard-working and a reliable person. I am
keen to develop my existing skills and to gain new
experiences. I enjoy meeting people and facing new
challenges, I am a married woman with two children
aged 7 and 15. I was born in Czechoslovakia, but I
have a Permanent Residence Card. I also hold a full
clean English Driving Licence.

2007 – Present time
I have been working for eight years as a freelance
interpreter for a public sector; in court, hospital, job
centre, school, probation, solicitor, police and social
services. Mostly, my main work is for Hull City
Council. I started to work for them since 2006 as an
interpreter. Also, for Language Finder Ltd in Hull,
mostly in court like Lincoln Crown Court, Sheffield
Crown Court, Grimsby Crown Court, Sheffield
Magistrates Court, Scunthorpe Magistrates Court and
Humberside Probation Trust and medical
assignments. I am also registered with Prestige
Network in Berkshire since 2006 where most of my
interpreting was for Job Centre and now for CAMPS
solicitors. Also, I did a recorded interpreting in case of
fraud and Police Forces. In October, 2008, Cintra in
Cambridge offered me some professional training for
experienced interpreters to interpret and be involved
with Police Forces in this country, which I did.
Currently involved with social services for CSE and
DWP for fraud.

Interests
I was involved in some voluntary work for people
with learning difficulties and elderly people with
music therapy. I was help to run a Music Club for
autistic children. All my voluntary work was in
Grimsby, where we were living earlier. I heard about
voluntary work for the Victim Support Organization
where I could help people from different
backgrounds and different countries. It’s also

for different occasions and I like to travel with my
family.
