I recently celebrated National Dessert Day (Oct 14th) with my family & friends.
We usually have about 6 or 7 items in bite size servings so we can taste a little of
each. We look forward to it every year. This year we had Carrot Cake, Pistachio
Cupcakes, Fall Sugar Cookies, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Raspberry Coffee
Cake & Lemon Tarts. Sometimes we bake and other times we buy desserts.
I heard of this holiday about 10 years ago when I saw that a business in the Phoenix
area celebrated this festive and tasty event with their employees each year. I believe
each person brought a dessert to share.
