This is a letter of recommendation supporting Ms Marcia Hill. She is a competent
and enthusiastic mature age student whom I met last semester because she
participated in a departmental study tour (3226HSL). I consider her to be highly
motivated and dedicated to her studies.
Marcia has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is well organised, very
reliable and has great initiative which will ensure full involvement and participation.
She embraced course learning activities before, during and after the study tour and
enjoyed involvement in new experiences. She consequently received a high grade in
this course.
Her participation in the Vietnam study tour would enhance her double degree in
Event Management/Government & International Relations and complement existing
knowledge of other cultures obtained by traveling to South Korea, Japan, Italy, Dubai
and other European countries. I am certain that all these experiences would be put to
