CFO Controller
• Ability to achieve short term and long term strategic initiatives and lead the Accounting and
Finance teams to improve processes and output.
• Provide guidance for property transactions, and portfolio restructuring. Involved in the

Crown Realty and Development
• Partnered with the CEO to refinance and re-position property portfolios consistent with
lender requirements.
• Automated Partnership and Partner level reporting to provide visibility to investment
performance and illustrate the status of each respective capital stack.
• Produced first generation budgets and implemented re-forecasting process.
• Implemented Avid Exchange, a paperless invoicing system reducing AP processing time,
increased accuracy, and eliminated storage of invoices in file cabinets.
The Westvale Group
• Converted Health Care Property Investors entire portfolio of 527 properties to MRI.
• Overhauled accounting system and streamlined SEC reporting processes to accommodate
filing deadlines.
• Created SEC reporting models for Impac Mortgage and Maguire Properties.
Burnham Pacific Properties
• Completely re-engineered the Accounting and Finance departments from a functional
structure to portfolio based.
• Implemented a paperless document imaging and archiving software package which allowed
for improved document retrieval times (leases, loan documents, partnership agreements)
and for speedy due diligence for property sales.
• Heavily involved in the acquisition of over 60 shopping centers valued at $1.6B and the
subsequent complete liquidation of the entire company.
