I am writing to offer my recommendation of Manveer Sandhu. Over the last 40 years, I have had
the privilege of serving the people of California and the United States in various capacities. As
an intern in my 2016 campaign, Manveer distinguished himself as a dynamic thinker with a
passion for public service.
My campaigns require significant community organizing and interpersonal communication
skills. We approved Manveer as a team member not only because of his outstanding academic
record but also because he possessed the ability to think critically and communicate a diverse
array of nuanced policy positions in a clear and effective manner. As an intern, Manveer learned
how to advocate effectively on my behalf, how to evaluate and discern between various policy
initiatives and proposals, and how to develop persuasive arguments when talking with voters.
Furthermore, Manveer learned the key components of community organizing, organizational
development, and event planning. I found Manveer not only to be an effective organizer, but also
to be capable of meeting high goals on schedule within tight deadlines. Manveer proved himself
to be a valued colleague throughout the course of the campaign.
My 2016 campaign was named one of the top five Congressional campaigns in the United States,
and Manveer played an instrumental role in that accomplishment. I strongly recommend
Manveer Sandhu for his ability to work independently, organize his time efficiently, and to
