It is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation for Ms. Manasa Sunil.
Ms. Sunil was my student for the courses of Digital Communication, Wireless
Communication, Wireless Techniques and Advanced Wireless Techniques that she
registered for throughout the four semesters of her Master’s degree. I consider myself to
be a fair recommender as I’ve known her for two years now. These courses that she’s
taken under I, range from a basic to an advanced level, designed to encourage students to
obtain hands-on practical and conceptual knowledge about Wireless Communication and
various signal processing techniques.
Over the years, I have had ample opportunities to assess Manasa’s intellectual and
communication abilities. In class, she has been very punctual by attendance and in
turning in all course work promptly. Not only has her class participation been superb, but
she has also received ‘A’s in all of my courses except for Digital Communication which
she received a ‘B’, as it was her first semester and she had a lot of ‘getting-used-to’ to
deal with. Overall, she ranks top 10% of all my classes she has registered for.
She has demonstrated high standards of self-motivation and a great hunger to learn, by
volunteering to work on a Research oriented Independent Study for me. Her work
showed a lot of hard work and understanding with very sound observations. She has
excellent communication skills and her written work is both clear and concise.
Manasa’s personal qualities match her intellectual qualities. I find her to possess all of the
qualities required to excel in virtually any environment – Maturity, Dedication, a Positive
outlook and in showing respect for fellow companions. Most importantly, I believe her to
be an individual of integrity – suitable to positions of leadership and responsibility and
that Manasa will be a tremendous asset to the profession in general.
