The OCTOPUS 3 is designed mainly for self service retail stores, for the protection of valuable display
items. Removal of sensors connected to the protected items or disconnection of a wire generates sound
and visual alarm. Easy expansion of the system allows to protect up to a large number of items. The
master unit is easy to operate and offers several security options and is equipped with a tamper switch.
The OCTOPUS3 is operated by a DC power supply and an inbuild, rechargeable battery pack. This gives
the freedom for using the system without having power around or during the night, when power is shut off.
The batteries are recharged automatically as soon as the system is connected to the power supply
again. Power failure is immediately conveyed to store personnel by a warning signal and the system is
automatically switched to battery supply.
