as a small trading company and right now becoming world largest corporation
ď‚´ The company is manufacturing several latest technologies, electronic
appliances such as

• tablets, laptops,
• TVs,
• refrigerators,
• air conditioners,
• washers and other products.

5. CHALLENGES OF SAMSUNG
ď‚´ Global semiconductor manufacturers are struggling to cope with low demand for their
products amid rising inflation and slowing economies, and Samsung is no exception.
ď‚´ Samsung Biologics' operating profit doubled to 3.2 trillion won in the third quarter from a year ago,
reaching 60% that of Samsung Electronics' chip division.
ď‚´ It is growing fast, but not yet enough to reach the same level of Samsung's other tech businesses.
ď‚´ Samsung, like many of South Korea's conglomerates, has been plagued with legal woes for
decades
ď‚´ Samsung also operates a finance business that ranges from insurance to securities to asset
management, but analysts say it is only a player in the domestic market and lacks a plan to go
global.

developing world has meant that the company can expand its global footprint.

Samsung is primarily a South Korean Chaebol or a family owned multinational. This means
that despite its global footprint it still operates from the core as a Korean company. Therefore,
there are several aspects to its global operations some of which include adapting itself to the
local conditions

Samsung can be considered as being among the world’s leading innovative companies. This
means that the company is at an advantage as far as harnessing the power of technology and
driving innovation for sustainable business advantage is concerned.
