Smart Pulse is an emergency life saving safety device , mounted on vehicles . This device equipped with GPS and auto dial telecom set enables the person/ victims to call for help on emergency . The feature of this device is easy to activate by pushing the push button, once activated the electrical energy from battery energises the whole circuit along with triggering the emergency dial , making call to the emergency numbers listed in the dialer equipment and the vehicle or the person can be reached at least available time by tracking the location ,on receiving GPS signal- thereby saving a life on emergency.

Why “Smart pulse” device?
Problems/ issues we are facing, in everyday life are;
1. Increase in population is leading to the use of more vehicles on road , thereby increasing
road traffic
2. The lifestyle of modern peoples is very tight and they always look to be fast to attain
their work scheduled without fail, from morning start till he / she reaches back home.
3. In order to reach on-time to their scheduled work, everyone will be in rush. Safety will
be ignored, neglected and is always kept at last.
4. If any emergency occurs or vehicles gets into problem or any accident occur in a remote
area/ places , during which no person presence is seen on demand for help , then this
may turn to be a critical disaster taking a life too.
5. Considering the possibility of facing the enquiry from police, peoples may ignore to
hospitalise the victim of accident.
6. There may be possibility of failure in communication (mobiles) devices like battery drain
out, no-signal or loss of communication device, hence causing failure to communicate
during emergency.
7. We are seeing and hearing in everyday news , there are lot of criminal cases registered
on kidnapping , rapes , murders , robbery etc. happening regularly , which requires an
immediate action and superfast communication for help , before its late.
Considering above issues listed, I have come-up with a concept/idea of “Smart Pulse”
device, which has the positive effect to overcome all the above issues.
This “Smart Pulse “will be an additional safety device installed on vehicles,
1. Helps families to locate their family members on emergency.
2. Helps police to trace the location on emergency.
3. Helps the victims in case of accidents, by ensuring extreme fast reach of medical facilities
(ambulance and first aid) to the spot of accident and hence saving a life.
Smart Pulse device – Working:
Smart Pulse device is installed on to the vehicles as shown in fig.1 & fig.2, fig.3 shows
electrical connections of the device.
It works on the principle of energizing the electrical circuit by pressing the push button
located on the top surface of the vehicle and is as follows;

1. Press the push button, located on the surface of the vehicle fig 1.
2. By pressing the push button, circuit gets connected to source of power (battery) and
triggering the devices connected to the circuit.
3. Once battery comes into picture, immediately GPS device gets activated, Siren sound -
alerting the peoples (if present) around the vehicle for an emergency, saving a life.
Once GPS is activated, it will make easy for tracking the location of victims on
emergency.
4. In parallel to point 3, dialer auto-start to dial the emergency numbers - alerting an
emergency to the police, hospital and the other numbers in the contact list.
5. Mic and Speaker: This set (telecom set) is a very important part of “Smart Pulse “device.
If in case the push button is pressed accidently , then this will trigger the circuit and
hence there is a chance for dialing police , hospital or others in the contact list - alerting
them an emergency .
In order to avoid such false alerts, “Smart Pulse” device is added with this telecom set .If
device is triggered accidently , then the person near to vehicle can communicate ,
whether it was a false triggering or not and hence saving the precious time of police ,
hospital emergency facility and others in the contact list.
Advantages of “Smart Pulse” device:
1. In case of emergencies like accidents, robbery, kidnapping, help during any
problem to females at any time, this smart pulse device installed on to
vehicles will trigger for help instantaneously, by just “Pressing” the push
button available on their own vehicle or nearby vehicles on emergencies.
2. Location of the victims in emergency can be identified easily, by the GPS
signal received from the “Smart Pulse’s GPS device”.
3. Call made on emergency using telecom set, can be traced accurately along
with the support of the GPS signal received from “Smart Pulse “device and
thereby rescuing the person on time, with speed.
4. Time to reach the person on emergency is reduced to minimum.
5. The name is “Smart Pulse “, as it acts instantaneously triggering wide range of
alarms on emergencies.
