Started school after my
father passed away in
2006.
Was put on academic
suspension for bad
grades and transferred to
Bellevue Community
College
Graduated in 12 months
and transferred to
Eastern Washington
University
Worked as a student
assistant for the Men’s
Basketball Team.
Graduated within 15 of
arriving on campus.
Started a graduate
program in Athletic
Administration
Was told that I would not
be continuing in the
program after 1 semester.
4. Career/Grad School
I coached high school
basketball for 8 years.
I assisted with a Division 1
basketball program for 2 years.
Started working with at risk
youth in 2011.
Was promoted to manager in
2012.
In 2013 I moved to Southern
Utah.
Worked as a Youth Mentor for
17 months before moving
companies
Was accepted into the Masters of
Public Administration program in
Fall of 20014.
In March of 2014 I left my job to
take a job at another Youth
Treatment Facility.
Went to class throughout the
summer and was on track to
graduate in the summer of 2016.
A change of plans changed this
date to fall 2016
5. Goals for the Future
Upon completion of my master’s degree I would
like to be an athletic director at the high school
level.
I would like to coach basketball.
By 2020 I would like to win a state championship.
My goal for the athletic department that I will run is
to have every sport play in the state tournament by
2025.
I would like to motivate and inspire young people to
achieve their goals and dreams.
My goal would be to have 100% graduation rate of
all athletes in the program.
