MNS Offers Prehistoric Pairing
Two Historic Journeys Now Available for One Low Price
DALLAS, Texas (June 8, 2010) – Two Mesozoic marvels can now being purchased for
a discounted price at the Museum of Nature & Science. Dinosaurs Unearthed, an interactive
exhibit which features life-size, animatronic dinosaurs combined with the IMAX® film Sea
Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure to extend Museum visitors’ journeys to the past.
Dinosaurs Unearthed allows patrons to experience what it would have been like to walk
among the dinosaurs of the Jurassic period. The dinosaurs move, roar and replicate the
prehistoric creatures with never-before-seen accuracy. The models are built to demonstrate the
very latest information scientists have learned about the “terrible lizards” of the past. Visitors
also have the opportunity to control some of the creatures’ movements, as well as learn more
about them through interactive displays and skeletons.
Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure is an award-winning National Geographic
movie that brings the late-Cretaceous seas to life. Part documentary and part narrative, Sea
Monsters weaves together spectacular photorealistic animation with standout finds from
paleontological digs around the world — treasures that shed light on the film’s incredible cast of
characters.
By pairing both the exhibit and film together, Museum-goers can now save money as
they experience the full reach of MNS’ prehistoric adventures. The non-member cost for the
Prehistoric Combo is $21 for adults 18-61, $17 for children 2-11 and $19 for both students
(12-17) and seniors (62+). Members have access to even greater savings on the Prehistoric
Combo, paying only $9 for adults and $8 for children, students and seniors.
