otel Schloss Pontresina Family &
SPA brings us up to Switzerland,
on the outskirts of St. Moritz. The
hotel rises inside a fascinating
castle fortress from the late
nineteenth century in the heart of the
Upper Engadine. Refurbished in 2016, it offers
stunning views on the Roseg Valley and the
eternal glaciers of the Bernina range.
The spacious interiors offer 142 rooms and
suites, a restaurant and a beautiful SPA. The
hotel is within easy reach of the major ski
lifts of the area, such as the Kinderlift Alp
Languard Pontresina (0.5 km), the Celerina
Corviglia (8 km), the Corviglia St. Moritz (9 km).
The bus connecting to the ski facilities stops
just a few meters from the hotel entrance.
For all guests staying for 2 or more nights at
the hotel there is the option to purchase a ski
pass for only 35 francs per person per day for
the number of nights of the stay, covering
88 runs, 3 snow parks and 58 ski lifts plus free
use of the Engadine public transport system.
During summer, guests can take advantage
of a free pass to all lift systems.
The hotel has been certified as a “Top Family
Hotel” and a “Wellness & SPA Hotel” by the
prestigious Swiss Hotel Association and the
Hotelstars Union.

fully renovated in 2016.

The rooms are spacious and generous, with
bright interiors, wooden furniture, and a warm and
welcoming atmosphere. For families, there are
several solutions to meet your every need, and
the need for space and functionality are based on
various thoughtful components.
A wide pillow menu is available with Mallow,
Spelled, Aloe, Latex with carbon fiber, Visco-latex or
feather options.

8. Food & DrinksNEW RESTAURANT AND BAR FOR THE JOY OF YOUR PALATE
T
he spacious halls of the
restaurant are elegant and
comfortable, with buffet
service and a rich selection of
dishes, from first courses to the
following, warmly inspired by both Engadine
traditions and the finest of international
cuisine, with abundant vegetables, fruit and
lots of sweets.
Breakfast is served at the “Caliz” hall
and includes a variety of pastries and
homemade breads, sweet and savory,
natural drinks, fruit, and everything you
could wish for to ensure the right amount
of energy for a new day that begins in the
Upper Engadine.
During summer, the outdoor panoramic
Terrace with views on the Bernina peaks
is ideal for a light lunch and if the weather
is good we periodically organize barbecues
along the river.
The dinner at the “Savur” hall includes a rich
open buffet for the starters and salads and
a wide menu of the day with choices of first
courses, second courses and desserts.

he Schloss Hotel SPA is a oasis of
peace, recently refurbished and
designed to highlight the beauty
of the surroundings, perfectly
integrating outside and inside.
The spa’s ultramodern design is softened by
the use of natural, warm materials, which
give it the right degree of protectiveness, in
a rarefied and relaxing atmosphere. It’s the
perfect place for a break from everything, to
treat yourself to time-out for pleasure and
wellbeing; the spa offers a small relaxing
pool, caldarium, Mediterranean bath,
biosauna, Finnish sauna, frigidarium, water
paradise with cold shower and summer
storm emotional baths.
Our professionals offer a wide range of
massages and can propose personalised
and cutting-edge wellbeing programmes.
In the beauty centre you will find the best
beauty and body care treatments.
At Schloss Hotel SPA there is also a Wellness
Trainer, a guide for the guest through the
path between the different saunas and
pools and through unique rituals involving
the 5 senses.
In our SPA we chose the highest standard
for beauty rituals and cell rejuvenation
treatments using the rench “Cinq
Mondes” products and the German “QMS
edicosmetics” products.
