Brief Description:
• Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa ating
Displaced Workers/TUPAD is a
community-based DOLE
assistance that provides
emergency employment for
displaced workers,
underemployed and
unemployed.
• A member of a household shall
be accommodated to extend
benefits to the most number of
households.
• A worker who has been
employed under the DOLE
TUPAD program shall not be
eligible for repeat employment
within a given year.
4. • This program was offered
during summer and December,
employers pay only 60% of the
minimum salary while the
remaining 40% is shouldered by
DOLE. SPES is open to all 15-30
year-old high school and
college students and
vocational students.

Brief Description:
• Government Internship Program/GIP
is a program that aims to provide
workers, particularly the indigent and
young workers, in order to
demonstrate their talents and skills,
in the field of public service, for
those who want to pursue a career in
government service, particularly in
the field of labor and employment.
