CV+ is a free online tool with a CV builder and interactive wall to help young people showcase their skills, interests, and experiences for job applications. It provides teachers with free classroom resources including a presentation, workbook, and lesson plan to teach students how to use the CV builder and wall. The resources are designed to be used in one-off or multi-session workshops to help motivate students, provide career guidance, and get them started on creating CVs and recording their experiences. Feedback from schools is sought to help improve the tool and resources for students. Future plans include adding more features like connecting students to opportunities, a business card builder, and video CV guide.

I'd like to tell you about CV+.
CV+ has two key functions; a CV builder and a Wall to showcase the details of the
content stated on the CV. The wall is an interactive area where users can add
photos, videos, sound clips, web links and documents to showcase themselves;
anything and everything that demonstrates what they're into, what they're good at
and what they want.
What's more, it's completely free to use the CV+ website!
Research shows us that the earlier we ask children to engage in what they like and
lay plans, the more motivation rises, focus sets in, progress gathers pace and
well-being improves. However, tailored career guidance sessions for each child are
not feasible in most schools. We need to ask young people to be their own guides,
to ignite a sense of excitement for the workplace and to insist that they urgently
pursue their goals.
We've built CV+ to do just this. We created all of the resources you'll need to
run a CV+ workshop in your school. These resources will introduce your teachers
and pupils to this brilliant tool, guide pupils through their first CV creation and
begin them in the process of recording their interests, skills, achievements and
experiences, ready for job applications.
What's more it's completely free to use the CV+ resources!
We don't want to see a lack of confidence or knowledge compromise opportunities
and adventures for young people anymore. There is no reason why every young
individual cannot be a happy, valuable and powerful professional person.

feedback means that we improve the site for pupils and teachers, and help

us what you think of the words we've used, or colours you like, ideas you
might have or simply suggestions to make the site easier to use.

template and design service, we want to provide
an important option for our younger users. With
that in mind, we’ve developed this great layout,

draws attention thanks to its centred design.

Privacy online is a worry for all of us, and we entirely
understand the sensitivities around safely collecting and
sharing information, especially CV details which, by their
very nature, are designed to be disseminated.
WE PROVIDE ACCESS TO ALL
THE RELEVANT DOCUMENTS
YOU MIGHT LIKE TO READ
WHEN CONSIDERING USING
CV+ IN YOUR SCHOOL, IN THE
FOOTER ON THE CV+ SITE.
At present, CV+ is not a network. We give users the ability to share
information by saving wall posts and emailing or sending them to who they
choose. It’s not possible for users to search each other and find and view
each other’s content. However, we hope that CV+ is so well received that
we can grow the concept and create a network for our users which leads
them to new, interesting and exciting opportunities outside of CV+. For this
function to be enabled, recorded information around individual’s skills and
education will need to be used in order for useful and relevant information
to appear to the individual users.
We are some way off this being possible, but we are passionate about
working to grow our concept. At each point that we expand or change,
we will inform every account holder of any planned changes to CV+ which
may affect them, giving them the option to close their account.
If there are any concerns on the misuse of data, CV+ aim to be completely
transparent and helpful.
We aim to gift young people with a powerful tool to better present
themselves appropriately online; CV+ will never ask users for sensitive
personal information, because sensitive personal information should never
be required for the fair-winning of a job opportunity.
We take security of data, privacy and child protection very seriously:

➔ We will always tell you about any changes
➔ No content created inside CV+ can be viewed externally without consent
We provide access to all the relevant documents you might like to read
