Luis' familiarity with business administration and his organizational skills proved invaluable during a particularly busy period for the Film Commission. Luis worked with our team assisting in the administration of the state's $330 million per year Film and TV Tax Credit Program. Luis was extremely competent and was able to work independently on projects that required acute attention to detail. Luis work on various deadline- sensitive projects, including tracking film and TV projects and updating our complex database system used in administering the program. The ability to track allocations, hundreds of projects, and applicant information is a key component to successfully administering this program and Luis played a key role in maintaining this crucial system. Luis also participated in meetings and conference calls in order to better understand the administrative side of the tax credit program and to assist the CFC in tracking the progress of hundreds of film and TV projects. He also assisted in meeting preparation setting up A/V equipment, organizing materials and preparing handouts. He was quite comfortable working in a fast paced office environment. He utilized MS Outlook, Excel, and Access extensively and was entrusted with accurately filing all required electronic documents. I really cannot say enough about Luis' professionalism and enthusiasm. He is hard working, intelligent, and a delight to work with.
