EDUCATION
Master of Science in Geology - University of Oklahoma (OU). Norman, OK. May 2013
Bachelor of Science in Geophysical Engineering (with Honors) Simon Bolívar University (USB), Venezuela. February 2011
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
PATHFINDER EXPLORATION LLC. Norman, OK
Pathfinder Exploration is family owned, private independent energy company engaged in exploration, development and production of oil
and rich natural gas in Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas.
GEOLOGIST/ GEOPHYSICIST Jan 2012-present
Part of an interdisciplinary team focuses to apply new exploration and modern development techniques into old fields to unlock
previously undiscovered reserves that were either passed over or never fully exploited.
ASSET ACQUISITION, Central Oklahoma
Assisted in the deployment of capital budgets for the acquisition, development and exploitation of 170 producer wells
Prepared production, capital and operating expense forecast for annual budgets
Collaborated in year-end reserve evaluations and cash flow projection
Supported the preparation of all capital deployment correspondence and proposal with working interest owners including
geological, geophysical, engineering and economic analysis
PENNSYLVANIAN SANDS: North and Central Oklahoma
Participated in the characterization and development of 4 Projects in North-Central Oklahoma
Developed depositional stratigraphic model using well data for better understanding of reservoir behavior
Assisted Petrophysical characterization of Fluvial-deltaic sandstones and 2D Seismic quantitative interpretation to delineate
reservoir boundaries
Recommended and implemented exploration and development opportunities, fourteen wells drilled to date
Supervised and train student interns
ORDOVICIAN STRUCTURES: Arkoma Basin, Cherokee Platform
Participated in the evaluation of 8 different projects in the Cherokee Platform (South and Central Oklahoma) which produces
from Ordovician sands and Silurian-Devonian carbonate groups
Mapped Ordovician-Silurian reservoirs with well logs and 2D/3D seismic for exploration and development
Evaluated Hunton limestone reservoir potential by using petrophysical properties and production data
Analyzed over 1000 sq. miles of Aeromagnetic data, Satellite Imaging data to identify areas Oil and Gas potential. More than
50 leads were identified for future exploration and development
Worked on development of mature fields where new techniques such as horizontal drilling/logging, multidisciplinary reservoir
characterization, AVO modeling and Quantitative seismic interpretation using 3D seismic attributes and inversion models are
being applied to find new oil and gas
Assisted in preparing AFE, cost estimates and drilling geological prognosis
Worked with reservoir engineer to perform detail production and decline curve analysis for an old field
Provide expert testimony to assist attorneys with litigation and arbitration hearings
Recommended best horizontal drilling zone for a natural fractured and compartmentalized reservoir
2. STACK PLAY (Mississippian Carbonates and Devonian Woodford Shale): Arkoma Basin, Cherokee Platform
Participated in the evaluation of 9 different projects in the North Cherokee Platform with focus on Mississippian carbonates
Mapped Stack Play reservoirs in Central Oklahoma with well logs and 2D seismic for exploration and development
Worked with the reservoir engineers to perform decline curve analysis to calculate the oil in place for the stack play reservoirs
Participated in the evaluation of 3 Woodford shale unconventional prospects integrating different data sets
Construct a reservoir characterization model (within a sequence stratigraphy framework) to identify zones with potential to
target oil and gas in the Woodford shale
Integrated and analyzed data such as raster and digital well logs, drilling reports, scout tickets, mud logs, Geomechanical and
geochemical data and recommended best horizontal drilling zone
FIELD WORK / OPERATION GEOLOGIST:
Assisted 2D/3D seismic survey designs and seismic acquisitions
Assisted drilling, supervised well logging and mud logging jobs
Assisted workover operations and work directly with geologists and reservoir engineers to design open hole and cased hole
completions
