through the gym. The Marching
Band plays some of our favorite
gamedayanthems.Thecheerleadersthrill
the crowd with some acrobatics. There is
nothing like the feeling of an LHS
Homecoming Weekend. The fun begins
with the announcement of the Queen, the
excitement builds during the traditional
football game (this year a victory against
Pompton Lakes) and climaxes the night of
the dance, when our President announces
the King. This year the voting for the
distinguished position of King was
exceedinglyclosebetweenHomecoming
King Kevin Mahon and First Runner Up
Gorav Kumar. In a memorable act of
chivalry, Kevin continued to dance with
Queen Sukhi Kaur despite the remaining
court, Johnny Calabrese, Matt Leto and
Joey Paladino, wanting him to join in a
br o m a n c e
huddle.
