1. Business to Business League Presentations
Premier League
One of the things I wanted to keep in mind awhile deciding on the website layout was
the organization throughout it. Having a mess of a website could leave the audience confused
about it. The last thing I would want is to have individuals leave my site due to it having it filled
with unnecessary clutter. My home page, I wanted it to bring in the audience with the photos I
have chosen and ultimately define the goal that is represented through the website.
The next thing I really wanted to focus on is the color palette. The color palette will not
only make my website look great, but it can also align with the league identity. I wanted to be
able to stay true to the Premier League. Also having the color purple represents having
creativity, royalty, power, and ambition. This is all signs of the Premier League and what they
want to represent.
The six sections I have chosen is marketing, rankings, expansion, merchandising,
revenue, and superstars. Each of these tabs represent some sort of business asset the Premier
League has. The marketing tab brings out the basic knowledge of the marketing side of the
league. It is one of the best soccer leagues in the world and their marketing scheme is
significant to draw more individuals into watching the league. The Premier League (the product)
is consistently having to work with different media sources and sponsors. The media needs an
entertaining value. Their main job is to create great content from the league. Awhile, the
sponsors want to have their product exposed. They are willing to spend more money to
ultimately get more attention to their product from an ever-growing league.
The ranking tab introduces the ranking system for the Premier League. What is really
entertaining to watch when it comes to this league is that teams get demoted and promoted
from the Championships league. This gives the league fresh teams to cheer for and have those
storylines that every sport loves to have. I wanted to represent the teams that have been
demoted and the teams that got promoted. I also wanted to make sure I added the model of
the league overall.
Expansion in any sport is always going to be huge. The three graphs I have chosen
represents the increase new watchers of the Premier league. There are talks about expanding
into other countries and these images shows the growth in individuals watching the league.
One of the great things about sports is that the fans show up in that team’s jersey and
other merchandise. The Premier League has plenty of funding and buzz through the world. This
means that the league can easily persuade or leverage their fans to purchase their jersey’s. I
wanted to represent the jersey sales worldwide. Keeping certain players in the Premier league
will help take the next step into the merchandising and marketing side of the sports world.
What is extremely great about this league is the split of profits the league gives to each
team. They split up in different ways to help produce funds for each of the teams in the league.
These graphs help identify different revenue outlets for the league. This tab I wanted to keep it
simple and clean.
Lastly, the superstars tab. I wanted to make sure the audience knows that superstars
bring in money. Having some of the biggest names in the soccer world is representing the
2. Premier League is huge. Having pictures of Neymar, Haaland, Messi, and Pulisic helps connect
the audience to some of these superstars.
