Lina Ilekis was been a part of the special event staff at the White House Historical
Association since 2012. In her work as a Special Event Coordinator, her main
responsibilities include, but are not limited to, directing vendor load-in/ out on event days,
giving tours of the historic Decatur House during events, insuring vendors and event guests
follow Decatur House policy and procedures, conducting site visits for potential clients and
troubleshooting any issues that might arise during events.
Lina has been a great addition to the event team. What I appreciate most about Lina is her
flexibility to cover events, her willingness to work with the team, and her outgoing
personality.
