The Program Purpose <ul><li>A grass-roots group of volunteers (ambassadors) who are interested in educating the community about Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel and the role it plays in helping disadvantaged youth within our community </li></ul><ul><li>Working within their circle of influence, each ambassador helps the agency identify and build relationships with businesses and resident groups who may be interested in becoming potential volunteers and/or donor partners (either in-kind or financial donations) </li></ul>

How Does it Work? <ul><li>Ambassadors learn about youth related developments and agency programs at the monthly meetings </li></ul><ul><li>At these meetings they connect with other like-minded individuals to network, develop relationships and swap stories </li></ul><ul><li>Ambassadors share agency information with people in their circle of influence and invite them to attend an information meeting or get involved </li></ul>

Ambassador Requirements <ul><li>Minimum - one connection a month </li></ul><ul><li>Learn about BBBSP, it’s programs and purpose </li></ul><ul><li>Work on leveraging personal connections to build potential relationships for BBBSP </li></ul>This tiered program is designed to accommodate different individuals time constraints and business interests

Entry Level Ambassador <ul><li>Requirements </li></ul><ul><li>Complete volunteer and confidentiality forms </li></ul><ul><li>Must attend two consecutive monthly ambassador meetings </li></ul><ul><li>Must invite and have 4 registered guests attend information meeting per annum </li></ul><ul><li>Benefits </li></ul><ul><li>Move to the Junior Level </li></ul>

Junior Level Ambassador <ul><li>Requirements </li></ul><ul><li>Receive & submit clear police check </li></ul><ul><li>Attend 2 additional ambassador meetings </li></ul><ul><li>Must have 5 registered guests attend information meeting per annum </li></ul><ul><li>Work on 3-4 donor relationships per annum </li></ul><ul><li>Must recruit 1donor/mentor/ambassador in first year and 2 per annum in subsequent years </li></ul><ul><li>Benefits </li></ul><ul><li>Access to the Ambassador's Business Portal </li></ul>

Intermediate Level Ambassador <ul><li>Requirements </li></ul><ul><li>Attend all 7 core mentoring program - ambassador meetings </li></ul><ul><li>Must have 5 registered guests attend information meeting per annum </li></ul><ul><li>Mentor a junior level ambassador </li></ul><ul><li>Working on 6 donor relationships per annum </li></ul><ul><li>Recruit 3 donor/mentor/ambassador per annum </li></ul><ul><li>Benefits </li></ul><ul><li>Participate in Corporate Visits </li></ul>

Senior Level Ambassador <ul><li>Requirements </li></ul><ul><li>Attend all 7 core mentoring program - ambassador meetings </li></ul><ul><li>4 registered guests attend information meeting per annum </li></ul><ul><li>Mentor an intermediate level ambassador </li></ul><ul><li>Working on 8 donor relationships per annum </li></ul><ul><li>Recruit 5 donor/mentor/ambassadors per annum </li></ul><ul><li>Benefits </li></ul><ul><li>Join Advisory Committee </li></ul>
