Audience Profile
The typical profile of the audience of a horror film is generally 16-25
year olds who are curious and willing to take risks. This is because
due to the general shock-factor that is presented the audience are
drawn to the shock they receive, they may believe this is funny or
amusing when they are scared by something and due to this fact they
want to continue to watch more of these kind of films. Another reason
for the audience being between 16-25 is couples tend to watch horror
films together as they are a good way of starting a conversation after
the film has ended, they can discuss and talk about their favourite
scenes and/or moments.
