It also defines horror as a genre focused on eliciting fear through gore, danger, and unexpected events. A few popular examples of films that fall into these genres are provided such as Psycho, Orphan, Saw, and Nightmare on Elm Street.

1. Mood Board- Horror/Thriller
 Thriller is a Popular Genre that uses suspense,
tension and excitement as the main elements and
can have fast paced and adrenaline rushing,
anticipation, uncertainty, surprise, anxiety and/or
terror. Examples of thriller films are; Pyscho,
Orphan, Henry and Scary Movie.
 Horror is another popular genre that uses the
theme or gore, Fear, Unexpected and dangerous
events. This can link into fiction e.g. Saw,
Nightmare on Elm Street and Final Destination.
But some films can be based on non-fiction stories
e.g. The Exorcism, Hannibal lector and The
Mothman Prophecies.
